Welcome to the Bookstore!

Beyond making the generators and running contests, I also blog about "geeky" and fannish jobs at Fan To Pro and I've started writing career books for geeks, fans, otaku, and other creative types.

So, you can see the latest here, and I hope there's more to follow!

Fan To Pro: Unlocking Career Insights with Your Hobbies

"Fan To Pro" is a guide on how you can use your fandom to find a new professional direction or enhance your current job. This book is the mental toolkit you need to turn your hobbies into career opportunities!

You know how in every crowd there's one person everyone asks for career advice? That's me, Steve Savage, and my crowd tends to be geeks, fans, otaku, gamers, and other creative types.

My goal, as a member of "Geek 2.0" - a professional geek - is to discuss how people can use their hobbies, interests, and outright obsessions on their careers. I'm not interested in the idea that "if you like video games be a programmer" or "if you like anime be a voice actor" - that's limiting yourself! I talk about how our hobbies and fandoms help us learn more about ourselves and grow as people. Forget the careers people think you "must" have - you've got a gateway to finding out what you really like!

This book covers:

Fan to pro is a helpful chat, a useful guide, and a collection of mind-expanding exercises all in one book!
